Griffin silk cord is great for stringing and knotting pearls, gems, and glass beads alike. The twisted wire needle attached allows you to use the heaviest size possible since you don’t have to double over your thread. Sizes run 2-14 – the higher the number the heavier the cord. Sizes 2 & 4 are good for your tiniest holed beads. Size 6 is quite standard for knotting most freshwater pearls and smaller holed gems. Size 8 would be good for glass pearls and beads and anything higher than that is good for large holed beads and malas. This cord is great for ‘floating necklaces’ too! Griffin silk cord has been around for many years and it’s always consistent and high quality! Made in Germany.
